I know it seems like I talk a lot about the many physical therapy exercises we do with Mason. That is really our big focus right now other than just enjoying his sweet spirit and personality. There is a reason I do my best to be consistent with his therapy (my goal is working with him 5 times a day). It’s because he learns skills and transfers them! Remember the new Prop Sit from this post? We’ve been diligently working on it and today before I could reach down and grab his pillow he did his prop sit. See those beautiful chubby arms holding his upper body upright? He’s so strong. It all comes as a result of consistent, daily physical therapy. He’s also easily distracted:Yep, lost it. But he continued to prop without the pillow for a few minutes. It was awesome! Yes, all the therapy takes time. It is time well spent strengthening that upper body and core. He’s got some muscle to build for later on.
Thats so awesome Tristan! All your guys(his AND yours) hard work is paying off!
