I had very little experience with special needs before Mason and that was limited to caring for an autistic girl - so not physical disability. This is all new territory for me and I get excited over every little thing Mason figures out - and sad over some things I know he won't. I'm glad to share Mason!Tristanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14483248387092516827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2782358493545454466.post-71176468920355843562013-11-19T13:48:03.096-05:002013-11-19T13:48:03.096-05:00I am always at awe of children with special needs....I am always at awe of children with special needs. It's s easy for people on the outside {like me} to see all the things they can't do and their limitations. Thank you for being so open about what Mason can do and the strides that he is making. I have never honestly ever thought that a child with special needs would have a "normal" life. But you have shown me different!! He is just like my children with his own personality and mind. Getting into things and wanting certain things his way, just like every other kid. Thank you for sharing his life with every one else!{leah}https://www.blogger.com/profile/09332673065709118013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2782358493545454466.post-61826156193321485612013-11-15T15:37:03.234-05:002013-11-15T15:37:03.234-05:00I've seen those in catalogs before! I came upon a photo of a swing the other day that was at a playground, and it was built just for wheelchairs. It made me think of Mason. He'd probably like it- if not now, when he got a bit older. : )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
